Course Description & Objectives

Individual topic objective exist separately, but the over arching goals of this meeting is to provide opportunities for professional and personal growth through the use of general, breakout and optional sessions, as well as an abundance of networking opportunities with fellow NICU nurses. 

This conference will provide both the advanced and novice neonatal clinician with evidence-based clinical practice information pertaining to a number topics; including common neonatal diagnoses and conditions, cutting edge treatment modalities and progressive models of care. Managers and those not providing direct patient care in the NICU will find that the content will provide them the necessary knowledge to advocate for an environment which promotes excellent clinical care. Any clinician caring for neonates will find the content of this conference enriching to their practice, especially:  NICU Staff Nurses, Neonatal Nurse Practitioners, Nurse Educators, Clinical Nurse Specialists, NICU Nurse Managers, Respiratory Therapists, Registered Dieticians, and Physicians.

MATERIALS:

This conference will not provide a written syllabus.

After registration fees have been receive, materials will be available prior to the conference for downloading and printing if the participant chooses.

ACCREDIDATION:

This course has been approved for 12 contact hours by the California Board of Registered Nursing Provider Number 4241
